Thirteen Years Of Eclectic Music Artistry

To all of my fans.

I have been an artist for thirteen years. I decided to really go for it with my heart and soul. It took time but I believed in myself enough to follow my own musical vision. There was no doubt in my mind that I was going to be an instrumentalist. Instrumental music was dying as an art form in rock & roll, rhythm & blues, funk and soul. Instrumental music was still alive in traditional jazz or new age music.

I became a one man band by a necessity. I play guitar, bass and keyboards with drum programming through a software called RiffWorks made by Sonoma Wireworks. I use a Line 6 audio interface called Guitarport Rifftracker. It came with Gear Box and RiffWorks. I also use a software called POD Farm. With those tools I developed a unique sound that was quite interesting to me coming from a guy with high functioning autism. I never thought in a million years I would be doing this. I am very grateful.

I put out nine digital releases to my name. They are available at all digital stores.

I describe my sound as a little bit of Jimi Hendrix mixed with Memphis Soul from the Stax-Volt era. A little bit of Ernie Isley from the Isley Brothers from the period between 3+3 and Live It Up. That inspired my lead playing sound but my rhythm guitar playing sound is a bit of early 1970's soul sound from the Invictus and Hot Wax labels owned by the Holland-Doizer-Holland team as well as the late 1960's juke joint southern soul. My bass playing is strictly old school with a lighter feel that is not fancy but very simple and very laid back.

Songwriting is a process with me. A song can take days, weeks or even months. I like to make my songs sound really good before I determine to let other people hear them.

In closing I would like to leave everyone with this. Stay positive. No negativity. Life is too short. Keep your head up. Never give up hope. Keep the faith.
