Hello everyone.
My new release "Musical Visions, Vol. 2" is finally out. Here are the nineteen songs analyzed in detail.
FLYING HIGH WITH THE PEOPLE I LOVE: A slow rock instrumental song that recalls some of the grooves from the late 1960's and early 1970's.
OCCUPY: An ode to the Occupy movement. This instrumental is very progressive rock influenced.
UNCLE FUZZY: A psychedelic rock instrumental song tour de force. My niece called me that because of my beard.
BROTHERS: A mid tempo instrumental that goes places from New Orleans to funk and finally to hard rock.
SNAKE: A very funky, funky, funky instrumental that has to get into your psyche. This one has to be listened to many times.
COLD NIGHT: A very nice slow rock instrumental.
LOVERS SHARING A ROMANTIC EVENING: This one is a laid back smooth jazz and r&b instrumental. This one is for the lovers.
THE WALKER: This instrumental was influenced by rock music of the early to mid 1960's. The Ventures were in my head when I came up with this tune.
ULTRA FUNKY: Another instrumental with a smooth jazz and funk flavor.
FLOWING WATER: This one has a New Orleans feel. It is very moving shall we say.
TRACEY'S SONG: A traditional jazz instrumental. This is a dedication song to my older sister.
A SONG FOR MY FATHER: A slow rock instrumental. This one is a dedication to my father.
I WANT TO SHARE MY LIFE WITH SOMEONE: This instrumental is very inspired by the Motown era.
AURORA, COLORADO (JULY 20, 2012): This instrumental is a dedication song that is dedicated to the people who lost their lives on that fateful tragic day.
I WANT TO GIVE ALL MY LOVE TO YOU: This is a Barry White-Love Unlimited Orchestra inspired instrumental. This one is for slow dancing.
TOXIC WORLD: Another hard rocking instrumental that is so awesome and so addictive.
FIGHT TO THE FINISH: This one is very New Wave-ish. It keeps you moving.
AMERICA'S NIGHTMARE: A hard rock-heavy metal instrumental with just three guitar tracks with no bass.
DESTRUCTION: A midtempo instrumental that starts off with a fast groove and it ends with an all way out psychedelic groove. Groovy baby. Yeah!!!

I'm An Instrumentalist!!!
To whom it may concern.
I'm an instrumentalist. I don't sing or write lyrics. I speak through my guitar. The guitar does the talking for me when words are harder to come out. I'm feeling that instrumentalists these days don't get enough respect. We really work hard on our instrument whether it might be piano, guitar, bass, organ, keyboards, sax, trumpet, trombone, flute, or drums.
There's nothing wrong with singers getting the most attention but give the instrumentalists who don't sing some respect. Please.
It isn't something I'm losing sleep over but I'm realizing that the only time instrumentalists who get the most respect are the ones who are playing smooth jazz or traditional jazz. The instrumentalists who play psychedelic-experimental or other genres don't get the same kind of respect. That is very unfortunate. It is something I had to get off my chest.
I just wanted to give something for people to think about. Thank you all very much.

SOUNDCLOUD VS. DE-REGALO
To all of my fans.
I have deleted by Soundcloud account due to the situation with De-Regalo. Apparently the De-Regalo web site had my music for free downloading without my permission. It had brought to my attention by another indie artist who had an account on Soundcloud. I found out via Facebook. I deleted all of my songs and closed my account for good. When you delete your songs from Soundcloud it automatically disappears from De-Regalo. Please beware of phony sites.
I wanted to bring this attention to all of my fans because I appreciate the love and support you have given me. All I ask of you is if you're a fan of mine. Please buy my music online. I worked too hard to be giving it away for free. I put all of my blood, sweat and tears into my music.
Just to let all of you know that I am not on Soundlcoud anymore. You can still find my music at these sites.

Musical Visions, Vol. 1

Hello everyone,
My new release called "Musical Visions, Vol. 1" will be coming out on the 18th of October. It will be available online on i-Tunes.
It has twenty songs in total. I worked on it from January of 2010 to June 2011. I will go into the song titles in detail.
SEARCHING FOR SOMETHING - An instrumental that has a reminiscent of early Booker T. & The MG's Stax days. Great one.
TREMBLING - This instrumental is a tour de force. The guitar solo has an Ernie Isley influence from the Isley's 3+3 period.
STAYING TRUE TO MYSELF - This instrumental has a resemblance to the stuff that came out during the later Stax period from 1969 to 1974. Another brilliant song of mine.
MOODS - A smooth instrumental that has the funk, hippie jam band, R&B, and experimental roll into one song.
MORNING FLIGHT - A slow rock song that I wrote years ago until I perfected it with an acoustic guitar, Nord Electro 3 for piano, Mellotron flute, Mellotron sax, and Mellotron trumpet sounds. I still added the bass and rhythm guitar played through a Leslie via POD Farm.
I'M A ONE MAN BAND - The funkiest instrumental that I ever came up with. It is a must hear.
COSMIC BROTHERS & SISTERS - This is a hippie jam band tour de force with a lot of tempo changes and experimental sounds going on.
DON'T LOSE YOUR MIND - Another slow rock song that is very melodic. The listeners will really love the tune when they hear it.
MADISON, WISCONSIN - This one has a slight old school hip hop influence. This one is concerning aobut the people in Madison, Wisconsin who were fighting for union laws and fighting against the Republican governor, Scott Walker.
SHE WENT TO BE WITH THE ANGELS IN HEAVEN - This is a slow rock gospel influenced song that I dedicated to my aunt who passed away over a year ago.
DARKNESS - An instrumental that goes a lot of places. It is very adventureous as well. It is a must listen.
DARKNESS PART TWO - This is another slow rock groove with jazz rock, hippie jam band, and old school funk in the mix.
WAKE UP! - A hard rock instrumental that will blow your mind.
SOMBER MOOD (A DEDICATION TO 9-11-2011) - A dedication instrumental song to the people who lost their lives on that fateful day.
BEWARE OF THE TEA PARTY - An Anti-Tea Party instrumental starts off with fast rock groove and it ends up in a James Brown funk type of vamp.
FUNKY SOUL SISTER - Another funk instrumental with acoustic-electric guitar, Nord Electro 3 for organ, Mellotron horn section sounds as well as rhythm electric guitar through a Uni-Vibe via POD Farm. Listeners will love the song.
PLEASANT DREAMS - Another slow rock song. It is beautiful, soothing, calming, and wonderful at the same time.
CORRUPTION - An instrumental with a slight Traffic influence.
DOVE - An instrumental with an acoustic-electric guitar and string section via Nord Electro 3.
WONDERFUL JOURNEY - An instrumental that goes places. It was the one that I wrote over ten years ago. This one is a must heard.
Well, I do hope that everyone will check out my new release when it comes out. Thank you very much.
P.S. The keyboard that was used on "Searching For Something" is the Siel OR 400.
